Made of rugged and durable steel with a powder-coat finish that resists corrosion and scratches, the mount simply clamps to either side of nearly every type and style of the ubiquitous T-post that is often used for chicken wire, deer fence, and snow fence, barbed wire, and other wire fences. It comes with a ball head gimbal mount that allows the camera to be precisely pointed and angled where it will be most effective.

sturdy and clamps tight to the pole

My previous T-Post clamp was about 18 months old and no longer clamped tight to the pole resulting in the camera falling to the ground multiple times. This one clamps tight.

If you have to mount your camera from the bottom, you'll appreciate the extension bracket. The ball head is cheaply made. If you can mount your camera from behind, you'd be better off with the Maverick Ball-Head T-Post which is much better quality.
