Made of durable and strong steel, it attaches to a tree and virtually disappears thanks to its woodland camouflage exterior so it won't attract undue attention from game or passersby. With your camera installed in the box, you can lock it using a standard padlock of your choice. To make sure it doesn't get stolen, the box has mounting holes on the back plate so it can be screwed or bolted in place or use the holes on the side to temporarily secure it to a tree trunk using a cable-type lock like a Master Lock Python.

Does not fit Strike Force Pro DCL

This is advertised to fit all Browning Strike Force trail cams, but the DCL (Model: BTC-5DCL) trail cam is too small to rest snuggly inside the box. This will be a problem for me because I live in a very windy place and the camera will be rattling around inside the box. It can move side to side, up and down, and forward and backward. I'll have to come up with some way to secure the camera inside the box in order to get clear photos. I've been happy with previous security boxes I've gotten from Browning and the construction of this one seems to be of the same high quality, but this looseness problem is pretty serious.

Perfect fit for the trail cam I use. I use two 3 lag screws to attach, holds in place very well. Lock box works great for my needs with using a lock on the bottom.

The security box seems very strong and, though it took a few minutes to figure out just how the camera fits in it, it will be a welcome addition to our trail camera equipment. One of the reviewers said the designated cameras don't fit; the one I have does, so I'm relieved.

HELLO, I HAVE MY BROWNING CAMERAS IN THESE BOXES AND I USE A PYTHON CABLE IN ALL OF MINE. MASTER LOCK PYTHON CABLE #8418 IS 5/16 IN SIZE AND WORKS JUST FINE. HOPE THIS HELPS
