If this extension is used to connect a tether table to a runway stand base, will the setup be sturdy enough to use a laptop safely or will the whole thing be too wobbly?
It would depend on how you attached it but it could work if you want your laptop 2 feet off the ground.

will the base (baby receiver) of this baby extension fit into a junior receiver, eg on a turtle base?
No, on its own, the Kupo Telescopic Baby Stand Extension is not compatible with standard turtle bases. However, when used with the Junior Pin to Baby Pin Adapter, they become compatible.
