This Junior Drop Down from Kupo features a combination 1 1/8" junior receiver with an integrated swiveling junior pin. It holds your attached light and maintains a constant downward angle, even as the boom is raised and lowered.
Kupo's Junior Drop Down is designed to be rigged to boom arms equipped to support larger lights. An integrated friction pad built into the swiveling mechanism of the Junior Drop Down prevents heavy and expensive light fixtures from swinging wildly and creating a hazardous environment on set. Equipment mount via one of Kupo's standard junior stand heads, which gives you the option of a 1 1/8" junior receiver and a 5/8" baby pin that can be set vertically or horizontally to reveal a 5/8" receiver. In addition to keeping hanging lights from veering off in unwanted directions when raising and lowering the boom arm, the Drop Down can be used to add extra flexibility when support lights are outfitted with softboxes. The pin swivels to a minimum of 45°, providing an offset that allows you to direct sources from a high angle.
