Kramer PA-240Net Overview

With the Kramer PA-240Net 240W networked power amplifier, AV systems installers can provide high-performance amplification of analog or Dante sources to Lo-Z or Hi-Z speaker lines in meeting rooms, educational facilities, shops, hotels, restaurants, and more. Plus, it offers convenient control options such as RS-232 and IP. Thanks to its compact half-rack size and auto-standby operation, it is both space- and power-efficient.

This Class-D amplifier delivers one channel of 240W at 70/100V or two channels of 120W at 4/8 ohms, making it versatile for a range of AV environments. 32-bit / 96 kHz converters maintain studio-grade sonic performance. To ensure optimal tone, each output features an independent mix including adjustable level, 3-band parametric EQ, and high-pass filtering.

High-Performance Amplifier
With built-in DSP and an additional balanced stereo line-level output, the PA-240Net features flat frequency response, optimal sonic performance, excellent signal-to-noise ratio, and extremely low distortion levels.
Adaptable to Any AV Installation
Switch between Lo-Z and Hi-Z to accommodate any type of loudspeaker installation. Select one channel of 240W into a 70/100V line or two channels of 120W into 4/8 ohms.
Easy, Scalable, and Cost-Effective Dante Audio Networking
Dante makes networking any size audio installation easy by providing digital signal transmission over a local area network using standard Internet protocols. The unit is part of the expanding family of products that make up Kramer's Dante ecosystem. These products are fully compatible and integrate into any Dante-enabled system.
Interoperability
The PA-240Net supports AES67 and Dante, allowing high-performance interoperability between IP-based audio networking systems.
Individual Mix per Output
Each output supports an independent input mix with master volume, 3-band parametric EQ, and selectable high-pass filter. Create one output mix and EQ settings suitable for the venue and another for recording or cascading more amplifiers, powered speakers, or subwoofers according to any AV installation requirements.
Studio-Grade Signal Conversion Technology
The PA-240Net includes the latest generation 32-bit advanced DAC (digital analog converter) architecture to achieve excellent dynamic performance and improved tolerance to clock jitter. It maintains the quality of the original audio signal with selectable sampling rates up to 96 kHz.
Durable and Reliable
The amplifier features layers of protection against over-current, DC voltage at the outputs, high frequency, and overheating with intelligent, heat-sensitive fans for added protection. This makes the unit highly immune to failure.
Flexible Control Options
Control the PA-240Net locally via RS-232 serial commands or remotely via embedded web pages over Ethernet.
Power Efficient
Designed for peak efficiency, this amplifier includes auto-standby for power saving and cost-reducing operation; no need to rely on default auto-standby settings. Adjust your noise floor threshold based on exactly when your amplifier needs to go into sleep mode and when it needs to wake up.
Easy Installation
The half-rack width size enables mounting in 1 RU of rack space in a standard 19" rack with the recommended RK-1 rack adapter (available separately).
