HP Chromebook 11 G7 EE Overview

The 11.6" 16GB Chromebook 11 G7 EE Laptop from HP is a lightweight and durable system designed to handle everyday tasks such as browsing the internet, editing documents, and streaming online video. Specs-wise, it's powered by a 1.1 GHz Intel Celeron N4000 dual-core processor, 4GB of 3733 MHz LPDDR4 RAM, and 16GB of eMMC storage. This Chromebook also comes with a 2-year subscription for 100GB of Google Drive storage. Its 11.6" display, driven by an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 600 chipset, has a 1366 x 768 resolution for HD content playback. Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and pair compatible peripherals with Bluetooth 5.0 to free up USB ports for more important devices. Modern Design Meets Durability
Deploy a sturdy device built for the whole day with a pick-proof, anchored, minor-spill-resistant keyboard, and a shock-absorbing molded rubber trim. Measuring less than 0.75" thick, it passes MIL-STD 810G testing, IP41, and a 30" drop on concrete.
Powerful Performance
Give students a boost with Chrome OS, an Intel processor, 4GB memory, and eMMC flash storage. Enjoy a long battery life that recharges fast and connect in large spaces with 2 x 2 WLAN and MIMO.
Essential Collaboration and Creativity
Enable comfortable, convenient small-group discussions with HP Classroom Manager and Android apps. Get easy views from the 180° hinge that lies completely flat.
Simplify Deployments
Get a low-maintenance experience with the automatic software updates and virus protection for Chrome OS.
Never Slow Down
Search, stream, and collaborate through the school day and beyond with up to 12 hours, 30 minutes of battery life. Recharge to 90% battery life in 90 minutes with HP Fast Charge Technology.
Physical Connectivity
Connect to accessories with two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and one 3.5mm audio jack. Reinforced USB Type-C ports on each side support USB Type-C accessories and Chromebook charging from a USB Type-C adapter.
Keep it Clean
Help promote cleanliness in the classroom with a keyboard that can be wiped down repeatedly with common household cleaning wipes.
Chrome OS
Using Linux as a base, Google designed Chrome OS to be a seamless, user-friendly experience. The Aura windows manager adds more functionality than the Chrome web browser, but still maintains Google's minimalist approach. Chrome OS is optimized for efficiency with automatic background updates, no long load times, and easy setup. You'll also have built-in virus protection that updates automatically. Chrome OS also comes with pre-installed Google apps, such as YouTube, Google Maps, and more. For access to your favorite apps, you can open the Google Play Store, which has your favorite apps across all your devices, such as your phone, tablet, and computer.
