A pocketable camera and a sleek, portable printer in one, the seaside blue Canon IVY CLIQ combines the fun of producing prints on the fly with the convenience of digital image capture. This compact instant camera printer utilizes ZINK technology to deliver 2 x 3" prints along with a 5MP image sensor and wide-angle lens for versatile shooting capabilities. Autofocus and auto-exposure lend true point-and-shoot functionality and the camera's design incorporates a flash for low-light situations. To benefit selfie shooting, a selfie mirror is placed on the lens for aligning your self-portraits. The camera also incorporates an optical viewfinder, a microSD memory card slot, and has a built-in lithium-polymer battery.

Can you take a picture without the paper, and use the memory card?
The Canon IVY CLIQ cannot take photographs without Zink paper inserted in the camera, and will not take photographs without printing. The newer generations of the IVY CLIQ (CLIQ 2 and CLIQ 2+) have slightly more capabilities for taking pictures without paper.

Only 25 shots per battery charge is ridiculous. Will the camera run continuously if supplied with external power? Thanks.
Unfortunately, there is no AC power adapter designed to power the Canon IVY CLIQ Instant Camera Printer via AC household power. It is only designed to be powered via the built-in battery and charged via the micro USB port.

Can the camera be revived once the built in battery dies? It won't charge. I'm 74 years old and on a limited income so can't afford to send it to Canon for $95 and not knowing if it can even be fixed. Thanks!
No, unfortunately the battery can only be replaced by a Canon service center.
