What is the thread size at the bottom of the pole? This will be the end that screws into the base. The 5/8 x 27 will be the top of the pole where the microphone gets mounted.
The threads on the base of the Auray TT-6220 microphone stand are 7/8"-27.

Is anyone using this with a K&M 19740 Tablet PC Holder? The tablet holder can work with up to 1.18" tube. Hoping the 2 lb. base will hold the tablet holder in place.
I use these with a small rig iPad stand, an'd that works well. The balance is a little wonky when fully extended.

I was told this works with an AT2020 but it does not. Am I doing something wrong?
This sports a 5?8" male thread. The AT2020 Mount sports a 5/8" female thread. However the mount ships with e 3/8" adapter. Please make sure you remove the adapter of the mount and try again.

Can this hold the weight of an electro voice re20?
I don't have any info on the EV microphone since I use my mike and stand with my ham radio (14 oz, Heil Sound iCM BG microphone) and it seems pretty stable. I try to keep the mike cord out of the way so my fumble fingers don't drag it all over the place.
