The Special Use Round Viewfinder Eyecushion for Blackmagic URSA, in red Ultrasuede, from Bluestar, is designed to replace the standard rubber eyecup of the URSA camera. It fits tight around the actual eyepiece diopter. In this way, it puts your eye closer to the viewfinder display. The eyecushion's position is not affected by adjusting the diopter. This Ultrasuede version is made of 100% non-woven material consisting of intertwined, brushed, ultra-fine fiber strands. It provides a high level of softness and a superior moisture absorption rate, and it can be used in any climate.

It fits tight around the actual eyepiece diopter. In this way, it puts your eye closer to the viewfinder display. The eyecushion's position is not affected by adjusting the diopter. This Ultrasuede version is made of 100% non-woven material consisting of intertwined, brushed, ultra-fine fiber strands. It provides a high level of softness and a superior moisture absorption rate, and it can be used in any climate.

This eyecushion also fits the Sony FS7, securing directly to the standard eyecup, but special instructions must be followed to attach it. Please contact Bluestar for more info.

Money well spent

It took me a minute to realize I could just stretch this over the whole EVF housing. I was worried about ripping it at first because it is so light, but it's incredibly durable, and hangs on tight. I do wish there was more of a grippy texture on the inside so it hangs on to the EVF if I bump it. But it'll never fall off on it's own weight.

I wasn't a fan of the original eye cup on the BMD EVF and this solved that problem. Takes a bit of a stretch to get it on, but once in place it sits perfectly every time. Fits my face at a few different angles, super comfortable, and seals out all the light.
