miliboo MTT602 Overview

This MTT602A Professional Aluminum Tripod and Fluid Head with Mid-Level Spreader from miliboo features aluminum tripod legs with a 65mm half-bowl base and the MYT801 fluid head. The three-section, reinforced legs are secured by flip locks, and the base features a mid-level spreader and non-slip rubber feet.

The tripod has a 29.9" minimum height, it extends to a maximum height of 76", and it folds down to 28.4" in length for transport. The fluid head features a 360° pan rotation and a -70 to 90° tilt range, and it includes a pan bar and bubble level to make balance and movement smooth and easy. The full tripod and fluid head kit weighs 9.3 lb and has a maximum load capacity of 17.6 lb.

MTT602A Professional Aluminum Tripod and Fluid Head was purchased for Long Exposures with my Sony A7 Series. I have used many tripods since the '60s and find this one an excellent purchase.

Super Tall, With Excellent Performance

I have really enjoyed the performance of this tripod so far. The head rotates *extremely* smoothly and noiselessly, and the pan/tilt locks work great. It's also super tall (great for seeing over people's heads during concerts), and it's durable enough to have survived multiple trips in the cargo section of a tour bus alongside a ton of other gear. I also like that the pan handle can be anchored to either side of the head (right or left), which is a great feature if you're left-handed like me. Plus, it came with a durable carrying bag, a versatile quick-release plate, and enough hex keys to be able to tighten any loose screws that may arise. I will note that the mid-level spreader doesn't lock, but I haven't had any trouble with it staying in place. Also, the flip locks on the legs are really sticky at first, but they get easier to work with the more you use it. (Once I'd done it a couple times, set-up and tear-down was a breeze.) Very impressed so far. Will be using this more for recording concerts and other events.
