miliboo MTT609 Overview

This MTT609B Professional Tripod and Fluid Head with Ground Spreader from miliboo features carbon fiber tripod legs and the MYT803 fluid head with a 75mm base. The three-section, reinforced legs are secured by flip locks, and the base features a ground spreader and spikes with retractable rubber feet.

The tripod has a 20.9" minimum height, it extends to a maximum height of 67.1", and it folds down to 33.3" in length for transport. The fluid head features a 360° pan rotation and a -70 to 90° tilt range, and it includes a pan bar and bubble level to make balance and movement smooth and easy. The full tripod and fluid head kit weighs 10.1 lb and has a maximum load capacity of 17.6 lb.

Fantastic pro tripod and looks steady.Very good value for this money. Smooth, fluid. With a little vertical memory. Which is very much appreciated when making videos.

The adjustable drag is amazing and easily in the Manfrotto range. Nice FLUID movement, however the locking handle for the arm can be a bit bothersome and need some super cranking to get it "locked" Head and shoulders above everything else in the same price point. Just ordered my second one.

Tripod: This tripod is a BEAST! I holds balance VERY WELL; pan and tilt is smoother than I expected from kit at this price point. Definitely outperforms the Italian kit I got from school. Dolly: The dolly is pretty great as well. The only problem I had with it is I had to do a DIY Hack to get the sticks to work with it. When used with image stabilization in your camera, this is a great budget friendly set up without a track for dolly shots - provided you can maintain movement in a straight line. I will probably end up getting the E-Image F3 Tripod Rubber Feet Set or similar for a more secure fit. Or I may end up getting the Magnus REX Dolly for Tripods with Dual-Angle Spiked Feet. B&H, can I trade up for the Magnus REX Dolly for Tripods with Dual-Angle Spiked Feet?

the description here says a 33lb max load, but the description for this head has a max load of less than 18 lbs. is the max load of this head less than 18lbs?

Yes that is correct. While the legs of the miliboo MTT609A will support 33lbs the head on this model will only support 17lb payloads safely.
