The Sailwind HI Soft Diffusion filter is a "dimpled" soft focus filter typically used in portraiture. It is recommended for backlit pictures because the halo effect on the highlights is further enhanced, yet, shadow areas remain sharply defined. Its image effect does not change with the lens opening being used. Available in 75 x 75mm (3 x 3") x 2mm thick with overall diffusion or with a 15mm center clear area in grades 1, 2, or 3. Threaded sizes are available in overall grades 1 or 2.
