Adox HR-50 Overview

Adox HR-50 is a unique black and white negative film characterized by its super panchromatic spectral sensitivity, ultrafine grain, and high-resolution technical emulsion. Using Adox's SPEED BOOST technology, a nominal speed of ISO 50 is possible to suit handheld use. This also reduces the gamma curve to benefit pictorial, landscape, and street photography applications when developed in standard chemistry.

When the dedicated HR-50 developer is used, a longer tonal scale is possible to benefit portraiture applications. Additionally, the film's broadened spectral sensitivity ranges up to approximately 750nm, making it possible to use as an infrared film under deep red filtration. The film also responds well to other color filter types to achieve distinct effects. It has a non-curling PET base along with two anti-halation layers, too, to benefit both scanning and optical printing needs.

This item is one 36-exposure roll of 35mm film, and is delivered in a plastic cartridge.
