Add the ATEN USB DisplayPort Virtual Media KVM Adapter Cable to your compatible KVM over IP switch to access and control one remote server using a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Designed for select ATEN remote access switches, this compact adapter cable connects to the remote system with two male USB Type-A ports with mouse and keyboard emulation support alongside a male DisplayPort connector that can transfer 1920 x 1200 resolution images with reduced blanking. Then connect the adapter cable to the switch through its RJ45 port using a separately purchased Ethernet cable. The Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) feature automatically optimizes the KVM performance for different distances while the audio de-embedder technology extracts sound from the DisplayPort signal to reduce the number of connections to the remote system. For added convenience, this adapter cable supports Virtual Media to access DVD ROM and storage drives on remote servers. It can also recognize and operate remote smart card readers.
