Made at the company's factory in Vermont, the lightweight and rugged AO-1SILENT Audio Organizer Bag from Porta Brace is designed to carry and protect a variety of field mixers/recorders. A light but strong aluminum frame ensures that this sturdy case doesn't weigh you down. Back, bottom, and side openings with fully detachable side that easy access to the recorder's inputs/outputs and memory card slots.
Rugged Construction to Protect your Gear
The AO-1SILENT is one tough bag. It features a lightweight, yet strong aluminum frame that brings the bag's total weight down to 3 lb. The exterior is made of durable waterproof 1000-Denier Cordura to protect your gear in rough environments including rain and snow. The interior keeps your equipment secure with its soft and protective Veltex material. Two padded dividers provide extra protection. One of the dividers is equipped with a removable elastic wireless holder that can accommodate up to three wireless units.
Made to Be Quiet on Set
As its name suggests, the AO-1SILENT is made to be quiet while recording is in progress and is intended for use with audio field mixers and recorders equipped with quiet connectors. The bag achieves this with quiet magnetic connectors and rubber-tipped zippers for silent operation on set.
Pockets & Other Storage
This bag is a large, self-contained unit that offers plenty of storage options including ample room for multiple receivers. A large front pocket can hold any extra equipment, while the MOLLE strips attached to the pocket allow the user to clip or hang receivers, cables, headphones, and more. There are also transmitter hop pouches on either side as well as a zippered flask holder. The included Piggin' String lends a hand with longer coils of cables and extension cords.
Multiple Carrying Options
The AO-1SILENT can be carried using the durable nylon handles with suede grip, or for longer wear, with an HB-10M adjustable suede shoulder strap (available separately), or attached to a harness (available separately) using the D-rings.
