Butterflies in a meadow. Paintings in a museum. The view from your cabin or hotel. The Carson Optical CF-618 6x18 CloseUp Monocular will help you enjoy them all. This pocket-size optic's combination of K9 roof prism, anti-reflection fully coated optics, and 6x magnification produces a device that is strong enough to see distant architectural details while the wide field of view allows you to enjoy a sweeping cityscape or ocean view—but it's called the CloseUp because it can focus on objects just 10" away, making it ideal for seeing details on flowers, textiles, rocks, and insects. Focusing is easy: just twist the barrel. At just 1.6 ounces and 3.5" long, it will fit in any pocket or pack without weighing you down, so you can bring it wherever you go and always have a great view.

Carson CloseUp Reviews
Very Handy, Clear, Surprisingly Convenient

At First It Didn't Seem Sharp, But That Is Just The Sensitive Focuser. Sharp If You Focus Slow, And Then Distances Over A Long Range Are Sharp. Surprise Features: 1)eye Relief Is Enough For Me To Use With Glasses On! 2)the Eyepiece Has A Rubbery Surround, So It Doesn't Scratch Glasses Much At All. Clever. Great For Streets And Storefronts, Wildlife, Bugs, Tiny Words On A TV, Theatre. 6X Is Just Right For A Quick Look.
Good value, Excellent price!

Performs well for the price, and not too much magnification. Easily focus by rotating either the front or back barrel. Sharp, clear imaging.
