The pin is made from a 1" solid steel bar that has been machined to have a tight fit around the Magliner "U" Handlebar. It is secured in place by a special notch support spacer that locks in place with a grade-8 bolt.

Bad threads on head

This unit has bad threads which intern now the bolt is stuck on the unit and there’s no way to take it off without breaking this unit. Big waste of money

Hands down the best 5/8" baby pin in the history of not just baby pins but all pins. This took my mag-liner from just ok to darn amazing and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this is the year I finally get recognized by they academy. Of course my gratitude for this gem of a baby pin will absolutely be the focus of my acceptance speech.
