I received this wall mount during a sale for their LG TVs where you get the wall mount and installation free with the TV purchase. This is a very basic wall mount, but also seems very sturdy and solid. You can turn the tv left or right, but does not tilt upwards or downwards. Without looking more into it, I had this mounted onto my wall a little bit higher so that I can tilt the mount downward for a better viewing angle. If I had known it does not tilt, I would've went with another mount altogether.
This mount is very study and strong, however, it is a little limited. If you don't need to center it on a wall you should be good to go as long as your studs are 16 on center. If you are trying to center between windows or something similar there is little to no lateral movement, so your studs need to be centered on the wall as well. This happened to me where I needed about 3-4 of lateral movement in order to center the TV correctly. This mount does not suffice and I need to get a SANUS to make it work. This mount is not nearly as slim as the SANUS, but works in most situations.
