I purchased two of these to use with a copy stand that I have. They work great, and provide a lot of light. The diffuser works great as well. Good consistent adjustable light. You can adjust both the temperature and the luminosity.

Is there a carrying case that would be recommended for these lights? I have two that I would like to tote.
The ORCA Light Case for 1' x 1' LED Panels BH #OROR60 would hold two of the Nanlite LumiPad 25 High Output Bi-Color Soft LED Panel lights.

Is this powerful enough to be used outside?
No, the Nanlite Vlogging and Audition Tape Essentials Kit is not really bright enough for use outside in full sun. It is 86 fc / 930 Lux at 3.3' / 1 m. In the shade and very close the to the subject it will fill a little.
