The standalone 10 x 1 ez-Pro VS10 3G-SDI/HDMI Video Switcher from Lumantek is designed for live events. Integrated scaling enables you to mix and match up to ten SD, HD, 3G-SDI, and HDMI signals. All key menu functions can be adjusted with the integrated TFT-LCD touchscreen and operated with the rotary switch or joystick. The 5" screen displays program and multiview. Features of the ez-Pro VS10 include two PiP (picture-in-picture) functions and chroma/luma keying.

Does this switcher have control for PTZ cameras? The joystick has a picture of a camera on top that seems to suggest that it does. Please confirm. Thanks
You can control PTZ camera through VS10's joystick. You need to connect PTZ camera with VS10's remote port (9 pin). PTZ must followed "VISCA" protocol with RS-422. There is a RJ-45 connector at VS10 box.

Can I take the audio from the XLR IN to a SDI OUT PGM?
When using the XLR analog audio inputs on the Lumantek ez-Pro VS10 sound would be embedded into the SDI output.

How do we connect more than 2 HDMI inputs? Do we need to convert the HDMI before connecting to the switcher?
There is no way to add HDMI inputs to this switcher. If you want to use one of the SDI inputs on this switcher for a camera that only has a HDMI output you will need to use a converter like the Blackmagic Design Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G.
