Samson CR-77 Overview

The CR77 Diversity Receiver with AC500 Power Supply from Samson is a wireless, true diversity half-rack mountable and tabletop receiver with 1/4-wave antennas. It can be used when paired with an AH7 headset transmitter and microphone (sold separately) to capture audio for instructors and active performers in fitness applications.

The CR77 wireless receiver features multi-segment audio and RF level LED meters, a volume and squelch control, and is built with balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" output connectors. It has a 300' range of operation and is light enough to throw in your bag, or permanently install with the optional rackmount kit (sold separately). In addition, a mic/line level output switch sets the output level attenuation of the balanced output to line or mic level.

Antennas (A and B)
The antenna mountings allow full rotation for optimum placement.
Volume Control
Sets the level of the audio signal being output through both the balanced and unbalanced output jacks on the rear panel.
Audio Meter
This display indicates the strength of the incoming audio signal.
Squelch Control
Determines the maximum range of the CR77 before audio signal dropout.
A/B Antenna Indicators
When signal is being received, one of these will be lit green, showing you whether the (left) "A" or (right) "B" antenna is currently being used.
RF Meter (Radio Frequency)
This display indicates the strength of the incoming radio signal.
Power Switch
Turns the CR77 power on and off. When the receiver is on, the internal power LED is lit.
DC Input
Connect the supplied power adapter.
Unbalanced Output
Features an unbalanced high-impedance 1/4" jack when connecting the CR77 to consumer (-10 dBV) audio equipment.
Balanced Output
Use this electronically balanced low-impedance (600 Ohm) XLR jack when connecting the CR77 to professional (+4 dBu) audio equipment.
Mic/Line Switch
Sets the audio output level attenuation of the balanced output to -20 dBm (line level) or -40 dBm (mic level).
