The Limited Edition WS4 and PCS-Boom Combo Kit from Rycote includes the Modular Windshield 4, a PCS-Boom Socket and Allen key, a PCS Classic Adapter and 360° XLR holder, a Rycote Windjammer 4 with brush, a Medium Modular Suspension fitted with 72-shore universal Lyres, and an XLR-3F to XLR-3M jumper cable. This kit is suitable for pro boom operators, run-and-gun sports broadcasts, and more, and can be used with 3-pin XLR shotgun microphones measuring 8.3 to 11" in length with a 0.7 to 1.3" diameter.
The Windshield 4 kit size accepts the most shotgun models of all windshield sizes in the Modular series and is compatible with the following mics: Sennheiser MKH 416, Schoeps CMIT-5U, SuperCMIT, Neumann KMR-81i, Sanken CS-3e, CMS 9, CS 2, Rode NTG3, NTG4+, Shure VP89S, Audio-Technica AT897, and Sony ECM 670, ECM 674, ECM 675, and many more.
The PCS-Boom Quick Release System from Rycote is a simple 'click-in' attachment mechanism that offers a strong and noise-free boom connector for professional boompole operators. It features universal 3/8"-16 compatibility. Attachments include the PCS-Boom socket and a 3/8"-16 quick release tip.
The Classic Adapter for PCS-Boom from Rycote is an adapter that provides a neat, lightweight, and simple way to integrate the PCS-Boom (sold separately) into existing Rycote windshield kits. The direct-mount quick release adapter is equipped with a 360° adjustable XLR holder.
The Rycote Windjammer 4 is a synthetic fur cover that offers approximately 12 dB of wind-noise reduction over a standard windshield. It fits securely using locking zip fasteners and touch fasteners. The materials used are transparent to audio and will remain so if regularly groomed with the brush provided. Each Windjammer fits one specific size of Rycote Windshield. This windjammer fits the WS4 Windshield.
The Rycote Medium Suspension 68 Duo provides shotgun microphones with isolation from handling noise and has a comfortable pistol-grip that allows for handheld use. The suspension isolates by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs. There is also a 3/8" boom adaptor in the base for quick transfer boom operation.
