I found this Flexgrip to be useful for holding small subjects in place and stop movement while shooting macro. The A clamp end is good to about 1-1/2 inch thick material, which is great for most stuff like the edge of a table, seems to be a well made product that comes in handy when you have that one little problem that needs to be held in place or moved over just a tad or two.

I'm having a lot of fun with these. Great for holding up reflectors, diffusers etc. Very well made and secure.
