This Manfrotto-Type QR Plate Unit from CAMVATE comes with a Manfrotto-type sliding camera mount plate and quick release base plate. The sliding plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 built-in screws for mounting a camera.

A great time saver moving from tripod to gimbal

I have a Ronin SC gimbal and a tripod with an Avella fluid head. Unfortunately, the plates were not compatible. I bought this - the base plate fits in the Avella head and i put the bottom part on the gimbal so that I can now switch between the two quickly without having to switch plates.

I have a DJI Ronin SC and a Manfroto tripod with ...

I have a DJI Ronin SC and a Manfroto tripod with an Avella V501 fluid head. I would love to be able to switch between the tripod and the Ronin SC quickly but the base plates are totally different sizes so I literally have to switch the base plate each time. Can I use this attached to the Ronin SC plate (or vice versa) to swtich between the two and keep the same plate mounted on the camera?

As an update. I did buy this and it works great! Now I can move between my tripod and my gimbal without any messing around.

Hi, this looks great for a rig of mine. Is it possible to fix the plate to my camera cage using both the 3/8 and 1/4 screws, so it doesn't swivel? That is, are the two screws separately movable in the plate or are they fixed?

Yes the screws are moveable. And yes you can use both the 3/8 and 1/4 screw to move them separately.
