Using ZINK Zero Ink technology, the VC-500W can print without ink cartridges, ribbons, or toners. Instead, all the colors required are embedded right into the ZINK paper. The ZINK paper is also water, tear, and smudge-resistant and features an adhesive backing, which can stick to most surfaces. Print labels up to 2" wide and 17" long in a single pass.
The VC-500W supports wireless networking through Wi-Fi and wireless direct. Print from your mobile device when connected to the shared network. The VC-500W supports Apple AirPrint. Download the free Color Label Editor app to gain access to custom features, such as frames, fonts, art, backgrounds, and even ready-made templates. Since the VC-500W is also Mac and Windows compatible, you can use P-touch Editor software to print professional-looking labels from your computer. The built-in automatic cutter can make half or full cuts. Please use Brother CZ and CK ZINK paper rolls.
