SLIK Video Sprint III Reviews
Best lightweight tripod
I was looking for the lightest possible tripod with decent height (at least 63 / 160cm), used mostly for a static camera. I tried several different tripods and Slik was the clear winner. I love the small form factor and weight. We use it mostly for static camera but the video head is quite decent, it could be used for panning in an emergency (tried it with Sony Z90) and can be easilly used to adjust your shot now and then. It's better to tape the legs down to the floor for better stability.
Smooth and lightweight perfection!
I purchased this Slik Video Sprint III Tripod for use on hunting trips with my binoculars. I have tried cheaper and more expensive tripods but this one cant be beat for the price! The head is super smooth and only requires a finger to manipulate instead of having to put a death grip on the handle to move. The legs have a spread that allows you to drop to almost the ground level or at its highest position stand straight up and have your bino or camera at eye level. Im 6'3 and finding a tall enough tripod that doesn't cause me to have to bend over is difficult. This Slik tripod takes care of that issue. I love it!
