What's the two rubber gaskets for?
The gaskets are for securing the shifting set screw/pin in the L plate. Not the best design IMO, but it's not a necessary component. You'd probably use it only in shifted mode if you want extra stability.

Looks like there are a couple of holes in the ...
Looks like there are a couple of holes in the upright side of the L. Are either of them threaded for 1/4 20? I want to attach a Black Rapid strap to the L bracket while it is mounted to the camera.
There is one 1/4-20 on the lower side of the L bracket, that is sadly the only one on that side.

In reference to "Does it fit the Z6 II?" (question already asked), the B&H staff has given conflicting answers: Ryan says No and Rob says Yes. Please. clarify this issue so that I (as well as others who are considering the purchase) can make the right decision. Thank you for your consideration! Juan Renta
The reason why there are conflicting answers is because the L bracket can be screwed on the Z6 II, but it won't be a perfect fit because Ryan is correct. Unlike Ryan, I am able to mount the L bracket, but it's a little askew. This is noticeable on the vertical portion of the bracket where it is partially blocking the audio and mic ports.
