Key Features
  • Ideal for Observatory Installations
  • Remains Elastic Even at Low Temperature
  • Male CAT-6a Plugs at Each End
  • Use for Cabling Inside Mounts
Ideally suited for installations at observatories, the 100' (30m) Alpine Astronomical Baader CAT-7 Cold Temperature Network Cable has an outer sheath that remains elastic and won't shatter, even in low temperatures. When normal network cables are passed through mounts for cable management purposes, they can break or be damaged due to the very small bending radius—but this cable is designed specifically for that purpose. Each end of this cable terminates in a male CAT-6a plug, and the CAT-7 specification of the cable allows it to be run in mounts next to power cables up to 220V at short range without affecting the data flow.
