Can we use this with a MWIR camera? This would require the use of an alternative window such as saphire. Can the window be changed out?

The short answer is yes . Dotworkz offers some options on the front window on their web site. However, these are limited by the window shape. So, if your supplier of optics will not make a custom shape to fit the window frame you will need to fabricate a custom frame to fit your optics.
