Samson SAXP208W Overview

Reach your audience no matter where you go with the Samson Expedition XP208w, an 8" 2-way 200W portable PA system designed to be a convenient all-in-one solution for personal sound reinforcement. Thanks to its internal 20-hour rechargeable battery and the included XPD2 wireless handheld microphone, USB receiver, and USB extension cable, you'll have everything you need to get started at your next gig. Stream music wirelessly from your mobile device to the built-in Bluetooth receiver, connect a mic-/line-level source to the XLR-1/4" combo input, plug an instrument or audio player into the 1/4" input, then utilize the onboard 4-channel mixer to adjust channel levels, mic reverb, and the 2-band master EQ. A selectable voice priority mode is ideal for clearly audible announcements as it attenuates the music when mic signal is detected. Whenever it's time to pack up and leave, the top-panel handle, luggage-style telescopic handle, and rolling wheels ensure simple, single-handed transport.

can a karaoke system/app like SMule/Starmaker be connected to this unit?
Asked by: GOPAL
The system could be used for playback only of audio from the app. If you need to send a mic signal into the app on a tablet or phone, you would need specific mic for the phone/ table, and then cable the headphone out of that to the speaker to playback. Here's an example of that style interface, BH #SASMARTRIGP.
