there are 2 main problems: - the very end of the lens where it attaches to the camera is done as a steep cone, the piece that goes there doesn't stay in place and creates problem when you mount the lens; - the piece that goes on the extension works only with the lens fully extended, any focal length less than 500 you need to remove the cover.
