If i have eva1 and I want to mount 16-35 2.8 canon ef on it, it will work and help reduce the focal ? now 16mm look like 24mm and I want it to be\look wider

All these staff answers have inaccurate math. With a speedbooster adaptor providing a .71 crop factor, math is as follows: 16mm X .71 =11.36mm and f2.8 X .71=1.988. I am able to dial down to f2, visible on the viewscreen of my canon M6 mk2, with an f2.8 lens and this adaptor. 35mm X.71=24.85mm etc.

If I have a f/1.4 lens, will it become an f/1.1 ...

If I have a f/1.4 lens, will it become an f/1.1 or f/1.0 lens with this adapter? Also, will this adapter allow for EF and Ef-S lenses to now be used, like the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens, and will no longer need a Canon EF-EOS M Adapter or Vello Canon EF-EOS M Adapter for the Canon M6 MKII? Moreover, is there a 0.64 equvelant of this speedbooster that is compatible with the Canon M6 MKII? Thanks!
Asked by: Blessed
The adapter only allows EF lenses, and there is no .64 adapter currently available. As far as your aperture question, aperture is also affected by crop factor thus a f/1.8 lens would be a f/2.28 equivalent on an APS-C, and if you use this adapter you'll reclaim that light that is no longer falling the sensor so, roughly it'll be a f/2.0 equivalent. Basically, (Aperture x 0.71) x Crop Factor.

Dan, In your response to Muhammed you said "a 50mm f1.8 would look like a 57mm lens with an f1.4 aperture." You said it has a crop of 0.71 so don't you mean it would look like a "35mm" lens with an f1.4 aperture? Was "57mm" correct?

Will this work on a BlackMagic Cinema Camera 2.5 EF?
Asked by: robert
It will not. This is an EF to EF-M adapter, with EF-M being a different kind of lens mount. There is no speedbooster available for cameras that already have an EF mount.

Can I use this Metabones in my BMPCC 6K EF to eliminate the crop factor with my EF Lenses?
Asked by: MICHAEL
This will not work as it is made for EF-M mount cameras like the EOS M6 or EOS M50. The BMPCC 6K is an EF/EF-S mount camera.
