I like to do a lot of shooting with my phone outdoors, particularly near the ocean as I live in the Caribbean. At nearshore locations where the conditions can be quite blustery, this foam windscreen performs admirably. The one caveat I would add to an otherwise glowing recommendation is that in hot, tropical conditions, over a relatively short period of time the foam will disintegrate almost completely in storage. It would be wise to take special care to store this windscreen in as cool a place as can be managed to prolong its life. The refrigerator might be a bit excessive for this purpose.

Thank you B&H ... I searched the Internet high and low for this part and no one has it but you! Now I can switch off easily a windscreen vs windscreen covered by dead cat material. Bargain price too as Shure replacement parts are usually very expensive but here, what a great deal. Thank You!
