Stand your guitar upright when you're not playing it with the HERCULES Stands Single Guitar Stand with Autogrip System, a guitar stand that offers more than a couple features. The yoke provides an autogrip system that locks your instrument in place. The instant height-adjustment clamp lets you raise or lower the stand easily. Foam has been applied to all contact points to obviate scuffing on your instrument. The included grips are designed to mount thin-necked instruments, so you can place your mandolin or banjo on this stand as well. Foot pads maximize ground friction to give strong support to your instrument.

HERCULES Stands GS414BPLUS Reviews
The only stand I trust to protect my bass guitars
I have been using Hercules stands for 10 years. I really like the height adjustment mechanism to accommodate the 34" scale basses I play, it's a quick and positive adjustment. Another great feature is the yoke that grips and holds the guitar neck; that combined with angle that is set by the legs, you won't have to worry about the stand tipping over. There were 2 version of the yoke mechanism, and this one is the more robust design and material (it costs a little more, but it's worth it in terms of durability). It's been a few years since I've bought my last Hercules stand (somehow I 'lost' a stand at my last gig). It looks like they updated the release/locking mechanism to adjust the neck height. They've changed from a pistol grip style to a button. It seems to work just as well and it streamlines the neck profile (but I just love the feel of a pistol grip actuator, call me OG). If you think a rubber/silicone strap is good enough to protect your valuable axe from damage just to save a few bucks, then you might recoil at the price of a Hercules. But your guitar is valuable, is it not?
There is None Better
Can't be beat. The best. Ultimate Support stands aren't even in the same game.
