Designed specifically for Kowa TSN 770 and 880 spotting scopes, this Alpine Astronomical 1.25" Eyepiece Adapter has M41 male threads that simply screw into the spotting scope's eyepiece holder and allows the use of any 1.25" astronomical eyepiece instead of a dedicated Kowa eyepiece.
Using this adapter opens up a new realm of observational opportunities through the use of wide-angle, zoom, and other specialized eyepieces plus the wide range of focal lengths that are available on the market. You are also able to utilize Barlows, teleconverters, eyepiece imagers, eyepiece projection adapters, and other accessories and photo gear that you would normally be unable to use. A bronze compression ring holds the eyepiece firmly while set screws, tightened using the included Allen key, lock the eyepiece into the adapter so it won't fall out during setup, breakdown, or normal handling.
