I needed a mini tripod to hold a canon 90d w battery pack and tokina fish eye lens. The legs do not lock and hold in its place. It would hold a go pro or smart phone, but not made for cameras over 1lbs. Don't believe the 22 X 5 star fake reviews. Tripod legs are not strong, it does not lock and hold into place. I got suckered into the $12 price. Disappointed

Well built. It should last a long time as the essential parts are all metal. Can be adjusted to nearly flat splayed out legs. Handy for positioning a small video camera or small 7-10 inch monitor. There are no detents. So, you have infinite leg angles but the friction mechanism, set with a hex wrench, is fiddly with very narrow adjustment range.

How do the legs lock in two different height positions as advertised? Looking at the pictures I don’t see any height adjustable locking mechanism?

The legs do not lock but are stiff enough to hold their position given a the camera weight is not too much for the tripod load capacity.
