Flycam 3000 Video Camera Stabilizer

Providing pan, tilt, and roll stabilization around a central handle, the FLYCAM 3000 allows you to achieve smooth-moving cinematic shots when following a subject. It keeps the camera horizontally balanced as you walk, run, climb stairs, and otherwise move about. A special feature the FLYCAM 3000 offers that most other FLYCAM stabilizers don't is a sliding camera platform with a drop-in quick release camera plate. While other stabilizers allow you to counterbalance the camera load with counterweights and height adjustment, the FLYCAM 3000 offers both of these plus the sliding quick release system. The FLYCAM 3000 supports up to 7.5 lb loads, allowing you to mount your camera along with a matte box, mic, or other accessories in most cases.

The sliding quick release system features a sliding camera platform that can be moved forward/backward to help balance your camera before you begin your shot. The system also includes a camera plate receptacle that screws onto the platform and a compact camera plate that inserts into the receptacle from above and is secured tight by a lever. Instead of having to slide your camera plate in, you can just place it in from above and similarly remove it when done.

The base on the bottom features 16 counterweight plates enclosed in dedicated cups that keep the actual weights hidden from view. Foam spacers are provided to place in between the plates to ensure quiet operation. The 16 plates can be used or removed as needed to find the ideal counterbalance for your camera load, in order to ensure optimal stabilization. The center post of the stabilizer is height-adjustable from 16 to 23" for vertical counterbalance. The weight cups can also be moved closer or farther away from the center post to further help with counterbalance.
