Eggcrates act in much the same way as snoots do. They are used to reduce the angle of the light beam. Desisti eggcrates are stackable and can accept color frames.
This eggcrate is for the Botticelli 2K Softlight, and has a 2" grid, which produces a slightly narrower angle of beam spread.
