CAMVATE Quick Release NATO Cheese Plate Top Handle

The Quick Release NATO Cheese Plate Top Handle from CAMVATE provides a quick-mounting, comfortable grip for your DSLR or mirrorless camera.

Compatible with a standard NATO rail, this aluminum alloy handle provides one cold shoe and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting accessories.

CAMVATE Quick Release NATO Safety Rail (2.4")

Mount this 2.4" CAMVATE Quick Release NATO Safety Rail onto your camera cage or a cheese plate to attach compatible accessories such as handles, grips, and support arms. Slide your accessory along the length of the rail and fasten it in place with the integrated thumb lever. Disengage one of the spring-loaded pins at either end of the rail to slide your accessory off. Two 1/4"-20 mounting screws are included, as is an Allen wrench for installing the rail.

This handle attaches nice and easy to the top NATO rail on my rig. Feels secure and has a plethora of mounting locations in all the right spots. The rail holder is a fantastic addition.

Cold shoe stuck

I used this on a Tilta cage. I tightened the cold shoe too tight so then the cold shoe wouldn't move any more, and then when I tried to unscrew it, the cold shoe would unscrew from the handle. When i tightened the cold shoe screw back on the bolt stripped on the inside and then I couldn't get it off again. This would have been ok, except the cold shoe was locked at an angle. Too many points of failure.

Yes, the CAMVATE Balancing 1/4"-20 Mount Top Handle with 15mm Rod Clamp (B&H# CAC2487) can be attached to cages for various RED DSCM2 BRAIN cameras.

The product you are asking about is not sold by B&H so we cannot speak to the efficacy of your request. In other words, we cannot know for sure that it will work. However, 15mm/cage systems are made to basic standards so with that and the fact the screws on the CAMVATE cheese handles are in adjustment slots, we feel that this handle will probably work on the cage you are asking about.
