The DSLR Shoulder Mount Rig with Matte Box & Follow Focus Kit from FILMCITY enables you to comfortably support your DSLR or mirrorless camera on your shoulder. The rig comes with a shoulder support mount, a top handle, dual handgrips for added stability, a convertible camera cage, a 4 x 4" matte box, a follow focus with A/B hard stops, a 15mm baseplate with quick release plate, a counterweight, a 15mm rod set, and all the required assembly hardware.
The lightweight camera cage is made from durable polymer resin and can be adjusted based on your camera rig height from 6 to 9" high, and it features multiple 1/4"-20 accessory threads on the side. A top handle mounts on the top of the cage and can be used to carry the rig or create low-angle shots. The cage mounts onto 15mm rods, and there are additional rods and an offset Z-bracket to mount the shoulder pad on the back of the rig, so the camera is positioned in front of your body. The baseplate also mounts onto the rods and features a quick release plate for your camera.
The follow focus features A/B hard stops, a whip, and a gear ring, and it also mounts on one of the 15mm rods. The matte box features side and top flags, it can accommodate two 4 x 4" filters or one 4 x 5.65" filter, and it has a knicker on the back to accommodate lenses up to 95mm in diameter. The dual handgrips mount onto the front rods, so you can handhold the rig comfortably for long shoots.
