ikan Presto Softbox 1x1 Reviews
Decent
A little tricky to install but fits well. Strong material so I'm hoping it lasts a while because every event means its goin on and coming off. Of course it manipulates the light well. Not too sure how to get it back in the little case it is suppose to be stored in. I will get one for my other two lights.
Good performance, but difficult to install
The soft box performs well, once you get it installed on the light. It fits quite closely to the light hardware and is a tight fit--you have to pull the softbox firmly onto the light to install it. One way to install the softbox might be to lay the light down on its face on top of the open softbox and pull the softbox on. However, the instructions said that if you open the barn doors, the lightbox will stay in place better. One cannot open barn doors when the light is lying on its face. An alternative way to install is to put the softbox on the light while the light is on its stand and with the barn doors open which causes the barn doors to wobble about and the softbox to move too much. I ended up using a combination of the two methods: first I laid the light with barn doors closed on the floor and put the softbox on the light, strapping it loosely. Then I put the light with the loosely installed softbox up on its stand after which I reached through the sides of the softbox to pull the barn doors open. Then I tightened the straps. The installation was difficult because there was not much room at the sides. It is a good thing that my hands are somewhat small.
