This Skyhook Retractable Lighting Support from Leviton is designed to be installed in the ceiling of a multipurpose architectural space. When not in use, the Skyhook retracts into the ceiling to contribute to a clean and uncluttered look. When needed for an event or production, the Skyhook descends from the ceiling and provides a mounting location for lighting fixtures and other A/V equipment.
Each Skyhook has a load capacity of 1000 pounds and includes a 48" long pipe with a 1.5" diameter to serve as the mounting point for your fixtures. The ceiling structure is rated for a maximum load of 1500 pounds. For expanded mounting options, an optional lighting truss may be used to span multiple Skyhooks. This Skyhook is tailored for use with DMX controllable lighting fixtures. As such, a DMX signal is conveyed to and from connected fixtures through a built-in DMX 5-pin female input/output port. There is also space for three user installed receptacles.
