The SoundSwitch Micro-DMX Interface is a 3-pin XLR to USB cable that permits connecting your DMX lighting equipment directly to your computer so as to be controlled by SoundSwitch lighting software. The cable features a 3-pin XLR connector, as that is the norm in the DJ world. However, a readily available (although not included) 3- to 5-pin adapter will make this compatible with 5-pin DMX devices. The USB connector features a blue LED emitter when it is connected. With this cable comes a 3-month subscription to SoundSwitch lighting software.

Will this work to add DMX control to a nanlite FS-300?
No, the SoundSwitch Micro-DMX Interface will not allow DMX control from the Nanlite FS-300.
The Nanlite FS-300 does not support DMX control.
