GVM GT Motorized Camera Slider Overview

The 23" Professional Video Aluminum Alloy Motorized Camera Slider from GVM is a lightweight slider designed for video recording and time-lapse photography. It supports loads up to 11 lb and features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw holes for use on the floor, on the table, or via a ball head connected to the camera. It supports vertical, horizontal, and 45° shooting. A controller, lithium-ion battery, battery charger, and carrying bag are included.

You can attach the tilt head to the dolly, adjust the slide and tilt head for straight horizontal shots, and find the balance quickly with the built-in precision spirit level

Is light, travel friendly, can control direction and speed( can be changed as the camera is moving). Also is silent: the camera will not record any noise at all. It comes complete - except the ballhead to hold your camera and stud adapter if you need to use a tripod- , even comes with a very nice canvas bag. It uses a Sony type of battery, like NP-F550, F570, F770 or F9XX. I would recommend to buy an additional one, if you are going to spend some time in the field; away from home or studio. The languages available in the control menu are English and Chinese Es liviano, fácil de llevar en un viaje, puedes controlar la dirección y la velocidad (se puede modificar a medida que la cámara se mueve). Además es silencioso: la cámara no grabará ningún ruido. Viene completo, excepto la rótula fotográfica para sujetar la cámara y el adaptador de perno si necesitas usar un trípode; incluso viene con una bolsa de lona muy buena y útil. Utiliza una batería tipo Sony, como NP-F550, F570, F770 o F9XX. Recomendaría comprar una adicional, si vas a pasar algún tiempo en el campo; lejos de casa o estudio. Item arrived with corner leg broken off so I never got to test its functionality. Hopefully exchanging it for a new one. I'm hoping this isn't just a weak point in the design. Something for buyers to keep an eye on.

I've used it with z6 ii and heavy sigma art lenses AND an atomos ninja v. No problems. The only issue is, you can't use audio from slider because of very slight "clicking" sounds of the track. But very smooth and usable. Hope that helps

What is the maximum load weight for a vertical motorized shot?

GVM doesn't specify a load capacity when using vertical mode. A good rule of thumb is to cut the horizontal load by half when doing vertical sliding.

This slider has tripod threadings under it in the middle and on both sides. To use a single tripod, you'd just want to use the threading in the middle.
