I'm using a 6" FeelWorld LUT6 monitor bounced off an Ikan Homestream teleprompter. I'm noticing that if the monitor has light colors on it, there is a visible wash-out effect on the image from the Z6 mirrorless camera. I'm wondering if laying a sheet of polarized film, turned to the correct orientation, would mitigate or eliminate what I assume is a spill of light off axis through the beamsplitter glass and then across the lens front element?
I believe you need a polarizer filter on you camera lens first and then put a polarizing gel on you monitor that should help alleviate these issues.

What's the functional difference between the 0.3mm and 0.8mm versions? I'll be using this on a 600w Elinchrom strobe.
The thicker one is sort of like card stock. The thin one is like a sheet of paper. One is better when you need a slightly more rigid filter, the other is preferred when you need it to be more flexible.
