This is very useful item especially when you are charging your phone but need to make a phone call using your wired headphones (with a microphone). I was also able to listen to the music or play games while charging without any problems. When I plugged Aluratek Dual Lightning Adapter into my phone for the first time, message popped up letting me know that I was using non Apple product, but there was no problems or interference. I haven't seen that message any other time after that.

Yes, you can use this on an iPhone 12. Just know this is only for charging and listening to audio...it will not work for phone calls.
