Inovativ Voyager Utility Trough Reviews
Perfect size, but over priced
I have two of these, and when both installed on a 42 voyager there's still room to lean up against the cart when working closely on something. I prefer to not use the tie down knob for ease of movement when I need to squeeze through doorways, and the knobs stick out taking up precious room on your top shelf. Width is similar to Yaeger troughs and fits a box of kimtech wipes perfectly. Minus one star for being way over-priced, but that's what you expect with Inovativ products.
Knobs Will Scratch
This trough does exactly what it says it will, and the quality matches that of my Evo 36 cart. My only complaint, which seems like an oversight to me, is that the knobs scratch the black coating on the inside of the cart as you tighten them, exposing the bare aluminum underneath. To my knowledge, there is no way around this. I've even tried attaching small adhesive rubber bumper pads (8.5mm) to the ends of the knob screws, however the twisting motion removes them when tightening. Obviously you could just hook the trough over the top and avoid using the knobs entirely, but they're included for a reason. The knobs keep the trough from hanging at a slight angle and limit any play - keeping the trough in place. I don't mean to go on for so long about this, but this is very expensive box for a very expensive cart sytem. Damaging your cart should not be a part of its standard operation.
