Designed for use in law enforcement, search and rescue, and outdoor recreation, the Luna Optics Genesis Revelation 2.5-10x40 Thermal Monocular features tools for enhanced imaging, video recording, and streaming, and a built-in laser rangefinder.
The Genesis Revelation can be used to view, record, and relay images and videos of thermal signatures through fog, smoke, and foliage during the day or at night. At the core of this device is a 384 x 288 sensor, which can be enhanced to 640 x 480 and has a maximum detection range of 1094 yards. Luna Optics' Super Controller makes it easy to adjust image gain, display brightness, sensor sensitivity, and image detail enhancement on the fly, with no need to access a complex menu. A proximity sensor turns the image on when the monocular is lifted to the eye and turns it off when it is pulled away, a feature that can be adjusted or deactivated in the main menu. The shutterless 50Hz refresh rate NUC-free sensor provides a smooth image, which can be recorded to the monocular's 32GB memory or streamed via Wi-Fi.
The rangefinder will measure the distance to objects up to 766' away. Imagery is viewed on a 1024 x 678 micro-OLED display. The user has a choice of 10 color palettes, each with polarity image inversion, and Super Contrast mode helps with game identification.
