Does not work on AD 600 strobes, as advertised
I think this is officially the first purchase from B&H that I've regretted. I bought it because the title and description all say that it is compatible with the Godox AD600 strobe...and as you can see from the attached photo, it's not. If it was about twice as big, then it would completely cover the bulb and be totally fine...but that's not the case. Regardless, I tried shooting with it anyway and it only added a very slight hint of color (and it was mostly in the center of the light, which makes perfect sense given how this thing fits.) Because it doesn't completely wrap around the bulb, non-colored light leaks around the sides and overwhelms the colored light. Since the colored light is less bright than the pure flash, all you really see is the pure flash that leaks around the sides, giving a sort of halo light look. It would probably cost more to return than it's really worth to me, so I ended up just throwing it away. But I wanted to share my experience with this so hopefully others don't make the same mistake. Sure, maybe it fits the AD600 strobe...but not very well--and it definitely doesn't do what it's supposed to! Just get some regular gels and gaffers tape! You'll be much happier!
