Proaim ISO Dampener (Mitchell Mount)

The Proaim ISO Dampener is an inertial dampener that supports up to 192 pounds of camera rig and head and is compatible with Mitchell mount heads and supports. It is ideally suited for use with cranes, jibs, dollies, and car rigs to help eliminate vibration and shake. The dampener is an excellent choice to use with remote heads, which don't provide tactile feedback to the operator, but it can also be used to help stabilize fast dolly moves with a fluid or geared head.

The dampener helps to stabilize in the roll, pan, and horizontal axes, absorbing vibrations caused by rapid direction shifts or camera moves. When your camera is mounted on a moving camera rig, such as a car mount on a remote boom arm, the dampener can help smooth out bumps and vibrations from uneven road surfaces. The easy-to-make adjustments allow you to adjust the dampening force on the head to better match the camera's weight, the move, and road conditions.
